Supply Chain Manager-

 

Job Title:                Supply Chain Manager/Materials Manager/  CONTRACT POSITION 3-4 MONTHS



Department:           Operations

Reports To:            Operations Manager



 



SUMMARY Manages and oversees overall supply chain operations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages and oversees overall supply chain operations, including planning, purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors.Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, planning, and efficiency of operations. Coordinates and resolves issues regarding existing and new products.Interacts with all applicable departments to ensure that all requirements are being met.Other duties may be assigned.

 

 

REASONING ABILITY :Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Formal Training experience and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMicrosoft Word, Excel and Power Point experience required; knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and MS Outlook
